After a few days, I finally came to a little cottage so I ran as fast as I could and asked for some water. The owner explained, “You can have these beans.” I took the beans then threw them on the ground. A golden duck flew over and picked them up. I touched the duck but then I turned into a grey hyena!
As I walked across the miserable street, (whilst eating a sandwich) I recognised a voice coming from above me: “You need to have a wild adventure…” Feeling petrified, I climbed up the rocky wall and ran away.

Today we have been learning about quadrilaterals in numeracy. Here is a problem solved by Leon, McCauley and Bethany. How many quadrilaterals can you name? Year 5 children have had a fun-filled day at Parkside for one of their multi-skills days. Children who performed particularly well were awarded certificates and prizes. Well done Year 5!
But it was far too hot …
It was Christmas Day and Mark had booked a holiday for the family at Paris. There aunty had just came out of hospital with her new little baby, Rosy. Rosy didn’t have a room. So at the moment she had a room in the attic. It was the next day but the airport rang mark and explained that it was far too hot for the planes to fly. So mark past it around the house. Then the next day they rang back and said that they could get a free ticket too south America. They were very pleased Today 16 of us took part in the Parkside cluster athletics festival at Peases West athletics track. We put 100% effort into each event and are very proud of ourselves. In most events, we finished in 2nd or 3rd place, even with some Y3s and Y4s from our team competing against Y6s from other schools. Huge congratulations go to Briony who was the champion of the girl's shot put, with an outstanding throw of 13 metres! Well done to everyone who took part! It was just one normal day in the town of London it was a very sunny day too. Then all of a sudden it shouted out on the screens on the buildings EVERYONE GET UNDER COVER THERE IS A CREAM EGG COMING DOWN FROM SPACE. The police came running out all over the city trying to help people get into a safe place. The cream egg suddenly came down from space and splatted all over the town of London. All of a sudden the fire engine, police and the ambulance came speeding round the corner to help the injured people.
Today was our first music lesson of the term. We sang songs, played the chime bars and did some percussion activities.
