As part of Sports Week, we arranged a KS2 School Games tennis festival for our class and Y3/4. Some of us even got to organise and be umpires for the Class 3 competition. We all had great fun and enjoyed having the chance to show off our brilliant tennis skills, as well as our leadership skills for the umpires. Our Class 4 winners were: Justin, Briony, Matthew and Chloe and the Class 3 winners were Kieran, Ciaran, Hannah, Lillie-Beth and Keira-Jo. Well done to everyone who took part! Today 16 of us took part in the Parkside cluster athletics festival at Peases West athletics track. We put 100% effort into each event and are very proud of ourselves. In most events, we finished in 2nd or 3rd place, even with some Y3s and Y4s from our team competing against Y6s from other schools. Huge congratulations go to Briony who was the champion of the girl's shot put, with an outstanding throw of 13 metres! Well done to everyone who took part! 3 little men were walking along a street then all of a sudden THEY ALL STOPPED. Then they all jumped backwards, because there was a big brown circle falling from the sky. When it hit the ground it cracked, and then the cream splashed over their faces and they stated to laugh hahahahahahahahahaha. Then they went back home to get there spades so they can chop up the chocolate. So then they ate some of the cream and chocolate and they all said ”the cream and chocolate is really nice so then all of the parents came and ate some
Today was our first music lesson of the term. We sang songs, played the chime bars and did some percussion activities.
