Today 16 of us took part in the Parkside cluster athletics festival at Peases West athletics track. We put 100% effort into each event and are very proud of ourselves. In most events, we finished in 2nd or 3rd place, even with some Y3s and Y4s from our team competing against Y6s from other schools. Huge congratulations go to Briony who was the champion of the girl's shot put, with an outstanding throw of 13 metres! Well done to everyone who took part! One day there was three men working in the mine and they were getting all the coal and gold out of the mine because they were running out of coal and gold. So all the three little men went in the mine and got loads of gold and coal for families and the fires so they didn’t get cold in the middle of the night. Suddenly they all heard trembling and all the rocks were fallen from the roof and the three men all shouted together "GET OUT!" But it was to late it was a giant cream egg fell.
