Today 16 of us took part in the Parkside cluster athletics festival at Peases West athletics track. We put 100% effort into each event and are very proud of ourselves. In most events, we finished in 2nd or 3rd place, even with some Y3s and Y4s from our team competing against Y6s from other schools. Huge congratulations go to Briony who was the champion of the girl's shot put, with an outstanding throw of 13 metres! Well done to everyone who took part! One day there were three men that were working and all of a sudden the three men found a enormous cream egg. The three men were thinking were it could have come from then one of the three men said, “It must have fell from the sky”. Then the three started to put cones around the cream egg after one of them slipped over in the cream egg. The other two men helped the other man out of the cream egg and after they tried to move it. But the three men could not do it then they went home.
Today was our first music lesson of the term. We sang songs, played the chime bars and did some percussion activities.
