As I was strolling through the street, eating my scrumptious sandwich, I saw a miserable man climbing a wall, following a hyena and then I foolishly followed him. I finally found him as he entered a great coliseum so I went inside to see what he was doing. Once I entered, I saw a huge hyena racing between columns, being followed by the unusual man with grey hair. Feeling anxious, I stared at them until I finally decided to talk to him: “Who are you and why are you following this animal?” Then he quickly turned and dashed away briskly.

Matthew you have used really interesting verbs in this passage and I love your sentence openers. Have you been studying the Romans this year? I wondered how you knew about the coliseum?
