To start off our computing lessons for the year, we discussed how to keep safe online and be good digital citizens. This is our digital citizenship pledge that all of the class are going to sign and use as a guide to help us throughout the year.
Tag rugby club for boys and girls in KS2 started on Monday night and each week we will be working with a tag rugby coach. We are going to work very hard to develop our skills as we will be attending a festival at Parkside at the end of the half term. If you would like to attend, please see Miss Potts for a permission letter.
Each Monday lunchtime we will be having a craft club with members of Willington Methodist Church for children in Y5/6. If you would like to attend please go to the library straight after your lunch every Monday.
This week, we started by having a chat about the sorts of activities we will be doing and we also made name badges. We are already working very hard in Class 4 and we have started to learn about Ancient Egypt. This term we will be learning lots about it but to start off we made some timelines in History and looked at what a sarcophagus was in Art. Then we ended the lesson with some fun dancing to 'Walk Like an Egyptian'.
